When people first learn about how gratitude, appreciation, and love lead to positive manifestations in their lives, they are often passionate about putting new tools into practice for several days or weeks. They are on fire with their new discovery and their inner knowing that they are well on their way to the life of their dreams.
This is similar to hitting the gym and knowing that a svelte physique is in their future. They see evidence of fit bodies around them, and they feel excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead.
And then something happens.
The momentum of years or decades of patterns that do not serve them well kicks in. It overpowers the new neural patterns trying to crystalize. This is a common challenge, but it does not necessarily mean that failure is inevitable.
You have willpower, and it is a strong force even in the wake of deeply ingrained habits.
The trick is to keep your tools, tips, and tricks close to you at all times. Do not place the journal or guided meditations aside after ten days and hope that you have already gotten into vibrational shape.
Life comes at us with challenges that tempt us to fall back into our old personality – the one that is addicted to connections with people who are on a negative wavelength (think social media groups and threads that indulge in ‘Step One moments’*) – the one that is addicted to foods and substances that are not for the highest good – the one that doom-scrolls for extended periods of time, thinking that they need to be ‘informed’.
Be prepared for these challenges as the initial drive to be vibrationally fit wanes.
This is similar to being prepared for moments of weakness in the midst of your physical fitness journey.
No one is forcing you to click on that negative headline. No one is forcing you to eat that fast food.
You know how you are more likely to overcome your temptations if you have a protein shake and a gym partner with you most days?
You are also more likely to overcome vibrational pitfalls if you have a gratitude or scripting journal and a like-minded companion with you most days.
You have heard many times before that when beginning a weight-loss or strength-training journey, you have to hold yourself accountable.
The same goes for vibrational training. Nothing is more important than your personal vibration – and you must be committed to being very aware of your frequency hour to hour, minute to minute.
This doesn’t mean that you deny that Step One moments are happening. You can voice them and put a name on them, and honor them – but make sure you begin to find relief in any way possible. Reach for a little bit of optimism if that’s all you can do. Sticking with that optimism will create momentum in the right direction.
“Nothing is more important than my Vortex!”
Choosing to remain in a very low vibrational situation and trying to stay vibrationally high is an exercise in futility. With grace, you can voice your concerns and find a situation that will begin to restore your well-being so that you can truly be of service for the Highest Good.
This applies to the workplace, relationships, and more. If you stubbornly stay put in a toxic office, you can almost guarantee that your earnest attempts to raise your vibration will be swept away by the tidal wave of negative momentum of that environment. You do need to lean in the direction your intuition is guiding you towards. It could be a temporary break from the office, a different department, or a complete departure. Only you can make that call.
Any judgments and comments thrown your way reflect the peanut gallery – not you. People can only project what exists inside of them. It can be ugly – do not take it personally. They have no clue how much effort you have made while enduring emotional turmoil, and they have no idea how pure your intentions were. They have long practiced the vibration of victimhood and needing everyone else to change to make them happy. Their egos stay committed to their twisted narratives so that they can delay personal examination.
In moments of quiet reflection, they secretly wish that they could project light, dignity, and self-respect the way that you do. Nothing is more empowering than to quietly wish them peace and healing. You will have kept your vibration high despite everything and the kitchen sink being thrown at you. And your power of influence could send positive ripples that take some time to affect change.
Check in with a trusted friend who is also working on refining their own vibration. You will have a valuable perspective to offer them when they get caught in their own traps. One rewarding aspect of coaching your friend is that it will cement your new wisdom into your energy field. Later on, that friend will build upon your words of wisdom while coaching you. It’s a win-win. Both of you will achieve higher setpoints together over the course of a year or two.
Scaling a mountain is best done in pairs or teams.
Use whichever tools have given you the most satisfaction on the journey. Just as some people prefer rowing machines over bench presses, some people prefer guided meditations over journals. Perhaps you will incorporate both. You will have to delete some old habits to make time for these new habits. The immediate rewards are great, and you can trust that the long-term rewards will be great, too.
Challenges will come and go. Occasionally, there is real trauma and loss. Be able to look at them objectively rather than remain completely identified with them forevermore. You may acknowledge that sometimes you are in the crosshairs of another individual’s negative momentum, and you simply couldn’t buck that current that they had created. Every individual is the main character in their own story, and you are not responsible for doing their own healing for them. Only they can do that. It’s up to them whether or not they will take your gentle coaching and practical guidance into consideration as they look at every path from their own unique vantage point.
This has been an important reminder for friends who have a relative who will not do the work. It’s nothing personal.
As you progress on your journey of staying vibrationally fit, you will bubble over with feelings of joy and empowerment that you can’t help but share with anyone who will hear it. More people of like mind will be drawn to you, whether they are clients or friends.
The Universe is a generous and appreciative Consciousness that rewards you greatly as you become a cooperative component to the manifestations of other seekers.
It is with confidence in your own personal vortex that I say this to you: Every individual is capable of experiencing their vortex in this NOW moment.
My life has never been better. For some time now, I have been able to consistently live the essence of what I have always wanted – Peace. If you take your list of desires and label it with the essence of what you want, you will be able to focus with greater clarity. You will find yourself living in the spacious island home like I am in at this stage in my personal evolution. (I now have the space and time to be of service to more people than ever before.) You will find yourself enjoying the family or pets that you have always wanted (that patch of land with the llama and goats? It’s already yours.) You will find yourself doing fulfilling work that doesn’t feel like a typical job – indeed, you will want to work while you’re on vacation.
No individual has more opportunities for advancement than any other, no matter how their past looks. The Universe is incredibly just and balanced, never withholding love from anyone! The individual blocks the flow of love to himself, but the love is never unavailable. The water is always there in the spigot. Some people keep the faucet on, while others CHOOSE to keep it “off” or blocked! There is no interference from the Universe. It just keeps the flow of love going, eternally.
I hope that this post has inspired you to stay vibrationally fit. I hope you have experienced true empowerment by taking radical responsibility for your own vibration. Knowing that you are the driver of your own life, there is nothing to lament anymore. You can slow down for the speed bumps. You can take the scenic route. Other cars don’t cause you to permanently drive on the “highway to hell”! They may bump up against you, but you can send them love and drive away. Chances are, they need love more than anyone else, and you may have been a momentary cooperative component. Do what you feel called to do before setting an appropriate boundary.
I feel compelled to share with you some of the tools I have used over the years to varying degrees. I will list the technique and the outcome.

Daily Meditation – Gets me into receptive mode. It’s really that simple.
Gratitude Journal and Gratitude Walks – I manifested 2 months in Tokyo, paid, minimal work, great friends – when implementing these tools every day for months. Discipline is key.
Crystal Grids – I manifested the resources to take classes AND attract paying clients. My intuition guided me to use specific crystals, and I kept the grids in a prominent place. Don’t knock crystals, and don’t knock Hibiscus Moon. Don’t knock ‘em till you try ‘em!
Empowering Books – These brought me clarity, upliftment, and joy that propelled my life forward to the path of least resistance to continued clarity, upliftment, and joy. Like other tools, they were both an end in itself and a means to an end. I am always reading a book – sometimes four at the same time.
Guided Meditations (with brainwave entrainment technology) – These helped me to shift neural patterns and ‘convince’ me that my vibrational reality was my NOW reality. My cells were buzzing with the joy that comes from crossing that bridge from ‘believing’ to ‘knowing’.
Forgiveness and Letting Go – Allowed me to experience the sensation that I am not only surviving, but THRIVING. Genuine good tidings for all, knowing that we are all connected, knowing that separation is an illusion. The love I send out returns to me.
Yoga – the physical sensation that the Divine was always flowing through me and that I was loved more than I could ever comprehend.
*’Step One Moment’ is what Abraham-Hicks refers to as the moment a desire is launched into the Vortex as a result of something unwanted currently taking place. These moments are not bad, but it is best to minimize time spent in them. Beating the drum of an unwanted thing will bring more of that unwanted thing into one’s life, rather than allow the desire to flow into this time-space reality.
